Guardian Australia announces Lauren Sheens as new People and Culture Director

Guardian Australia announces Lauren Sheens as People and Culture Director. Lauren has served in human resources roles for over 20 years, including in leadership positions. She joins the Guardian from the ABC, and she has previously held positions at EP Australia, Telstra Media and BigPond. She spent 12 years at Foxtel, where she was the HR Director for Content, Commercial, Foxtel Media, Kayo, BINGE and Flash.

In her new role, Lauren will partner with editor Lenore Taylor and managing director Rebecca Costello to oversee the HR function as the business continues to grow.

Lauren Sheens said:

Lauren began at Guardian Australia on 12 June and is based at the Sydney headquarters.
